HOW TO MEASURE A BOAT COVER SIZE

When purchasing a boat cover it is extremely important to ensure you have accurate dimensions. Incorrect sizing can lead to poor cover performance and premature wear. Common issues with the cover being too large include bagging, sagging, or ballooning while trailering. Having a cover that is too tight can lead to frustration when trying to put it on, improper coverage and slipping off while trailering or in high wind conditions.

We are here to help you find the perfect sized cover for your boat!

HOW TO MEASURE BOAT LENGTH (CENTERLINE):

To find the length of your boat, measure from the tip of the bow to the center of the stern. If you have anything protruding past the stern (other than a motor or motor leg) include it in the overall length.
Be sure to measure the compete length including aftermarket extensions or any manufacturer options or upgrades, such as swim platform, bow pulpit, transom bracket, or jack plate.
Try to measure in a straight line. Do not measure up and over windshields, rails, seats, etc.

HOW TO MEASURE BOAT WIDTH (BEAM):

To find the width, measure the widest point of your boat.  Do not include bumpers or other removable items. Try to measure in a straight line. Do not measure up and over windshields, rails, seats, etc.
When sizing a boat cover, it's better to size it too big than too small.
